The local farmers' market where I grew up always had several cut-flower stands, and I could never resist buying one of the bouquets. The flowers may not last forever, but they bring a sweet aroma and aesthetic joy to the kitchen counter for the rest of their lives. 

Fun fact: you can change the color of the flowers by taking the red ones off and putting on white ones!

Succulents have made every effort to survive the harsh conditions of the desert. They have thick skin to hold in water for times when any moisture in the sand is scarce. On top of that, succulents adapted over time to create a different pathway of photosynthesis in order to not lose water during the daytime. They are a wonderful example of the tenacity of nature, and whenever you wear these earrings, remind yourself to look for inspiration in these charming plants.

Although I temporarily stopped selling these, they're the ones I'm most proud of. I stopped selling them because they took far longer to make than the others. I love the design, but I've been trying to find a more efficient process before I put these up for sale.
